🚨 What You Need to Know 🚨

U.S. Soccer and the Referee Community are committed to restoring respect to the game by enforcing stricter penalties for referee abuse—both physical and verbal. It’s essential that referees, players, coaches, and club officials understand what behaviors cross the line and how to prevent these issues before they escalate.

⚽ Why This Matters ⚽

Referees deserve a safe, respectful, and supportive environment on the field. This policy is designed to:
✅ Make youth and adult matches safer, fairer, and more enjoyable
✅ Establish clear consequences for inappropriate behavior
✅ Empower referees to enforce the rules without fear of retaliation

We all play a role in shaping the culture of soccer. That means knowing the rules, reporting abuse, and modeling positive behavior*

Let’s tackle this issue together. Join us Sunday at 6:15 PM for "Officially Speaking" with Christine Suter.
